History:
THE CIPRESSI FAMILY has been active in the wine sector for three generations. Involvement in the wine production began in the 1930's, when they focused special attention on the recovery of those vanished grape varieties which they thought were worthy of revival ( including the "Tintilia" grape of which they are the main producers in the area of Molise) Claudio Cipressi and his nephew Ernesto Travaglini who are currently carrying on the family tradition, began construction of a new winery and improved the production by applying new modern techniques. The CIPRESSI winery and its vines are located at an average altitude of 1600 ft (500mtrs) and sited on the boundary of Abrusso and Molise. The property has outstanding views of fields of wheat, sunflowers as well as the Adriatic, Tremiti islands and the Gargano .
