History:
In the early twenties, António Francisco Bonifácio founded a small wine business in the village of Carreiras, located in the heart of the wine country of Torres Vedras. After forty successful year's the company António Francisco Bonifácio and sons was established, and the moment came when his sons already from their early years a part of the business, took over from their father and carried on with the family's tradition. With quality as one of the principal motto's, the winery has developed over the years into a modern concern, great care being taken, however, to, ensure that none of the traditional flavour was lost. Today, Bonifácio's wines and brandies are sold in many countries and are well known and much appreciated by connoisseurs. Bonifácio's wines are preferred to accompany your meal.

Caves Bonifácio, Red Wine:
Especially indicated to accompany meat dishes, this is a high quality wine selected from grapes of the best origins and regions of Portugal such as Palmela, Poceirão and Cartaxo. 1° prize in the S.Pedro's Fair (wine contest - Torres Vedras). 2° prize in the "Jovens Agricultores" (First contest in Torres Vedras). 3° prize in the seventh wine festival - Bombarral. 3° prize in the Vine and Wine institute seventh contest in 1987.

Selected from the Ribatejo's best grapes, highly aromatic and with an unmistakable taste. From this wine is produced the year's harvest and is ideal to accompany fish and shellfish dishes. Should be consumed chilled. 2° prize S.Pedro's Fair Torres Vedras. 3° prize Wine and Vine institute seventh contest 1987.

Rei Nunes, Regional Red Wine:
This wine is produced in the Sado region and is made from the best varieties of grapes. With its rich red tones and pleasant taste, it is well to the liking of connoisseurs. Should be consumed at room temperature.

Unilar, Vintage, 1977, Red Wine:
An excellent quality wine made from a choice of the 1977 harvest of grapes from the Palmela region. Bottled in 1981, slightly tawny, perfumed bouquet and full in flavour. This is a wine which will delight all connoisseurs and those who appreciate a good vintage. Silver Medal in the J.N.V. sixth contest in 1982. 2° prize in the S.Pedro's Fair (first wine contest in Torres Vedras). Silver Medal in the Vine and Wine institute's seventh contest in 1987.
