Salvador Poveda

The Salvador Poveda winery is located just outside of Monovar 40minutes from Alicante taking the A-31 roadway. The winery is operated by Rafiel Poveda.

The vineyards are rooted in a limestone and sandy soil at the foot of a hillside facing south. With the help of the warm Mediterranean days and the cold nights Rafiel is able to achieve a slow maturing process.

Ageing: underground cellar with American and French oak.

Toscar Syrah: Ruby red, elegant, intense, neat and modern nose, spicy shades, especially fruity. The palate is intense, with good sensations, and good retronasal that retains the oak ageing.	100% Syrah	€9.50
Toscar Tempranillo: Neat and deep, floral roses, reminiscent of cherry. Palate: medium bodied, well balanced tannins, pleasant floral aftertaste.	100% Tempranillo	€9.50.
Toscar Merlot Ruby red, medium coating. Nose: delicate and elegant, forest fruits, blended with fine shades of new wood. Palate: soft, medium-bodied, good integration of fruit and wood, with slightly toasted finish.	100% Merlot	€9.50.
Dry Risling Extremly pale colour with light shades of green. Nose: A balsam like aroma with a light raisin fragrance. Palate:Very fruity with slight touch of sweet-sour honey which makes it original and different .	100% Risling	€9.50.
